What Are You Currently Watching (on tv/dvd)?

Postby Ian » Sun Feb 15, 2009 1:16 am

I'm currently watching That 70s Show season 4 and Veronica Mars season 1 on dvd (the latter I've not seen before) and the new/current seasons of House and Lost on tv.

What about you?

Went into town, so depressing recession hit so many CD and DVD shops closed, went into HMV on off chance and there it was in foreign films section: 4 Films by Lucas Moodysson; FA/ Together/ Lilya 4-ever/ A Hole in My Heart/ plus extra features. Cost 40 quid which makes a hole in my pocket, but not bad when you consider a lotta foreign films are like 15 - 20 GBP each. Just the boost I needed Swedish with English subtitles. I always prefer films in their native language with subtitles to dubbed versions. All I need now is the time to watch them all!

Good deal!

I have to say, the two films I'm most looking forward to this year are both foreign (Let The Right One In and Manana, the latter for obvious reasons! ). Ironic, as eight or ten years ago I probably wouldn't have been remotely interested in "films with subtitles"! Once upon a time, I probably would have gone (in regard to LTROI) "I'll wait for the remake". Now I consider it sacrilege!

I entirely credit/blame FA for this.

About two-thirds of the way through season 1 of Veronica Mars, quite into it now. No idea who the killer is, though.

I think they all did it!

Eva & Adam: Four Birthday's and a Fiasco. Well, technically, I'm just watching all the "Sara" parts, but yeah...

I was watching Everybody Loves Raymond (1st season) and That 70's Show (3rd season) today.

I'm watching Frasier on TV. It's the season where Niles is dating Daphne.

The first two movies are so good...

I haven't really been watching anything lately aside from basketball, new episode of supernatural on tonight so I'll check that out.

Yes, I have, it's very good, though I haven't seen it for a while.

Not as good as FA, of course.

Anyone looking for a PAL DVD of Let The Right One In?
I found one on Ebay UK. A seller in Singapore has region 3 copies on pre order to be posted out on March 25th. Postage was free, at least to Aus.

Does anyone have any info on a DVD release date for Manana yet?
