Yay! *:)* Got the complete Series 1 of 'The Killing' (Forbrydelsen) 2007, down from 48 quid to 25 quid in HMV today. not bad for 1100 hours of episodes. Starring Sofie Gråbøl.

Has no one else heard of this? It's rated even higher than Wallander and Engrenages. I know its certainly been released in Oz.

Maybe, a taste?

I see what you mean.
"THE AUSTRALIAN DVD RELEASE"

Why wasn't I told? :x

Sounds a very impressive storyline.
If you'd be so kind would you let us have a review of the first couple of episodes when you get the chance, 'cause this might be worth lashing out with a few Fishmegabucks? Image

Civilisation comes to Australia!

Scandinavians hit the Jackpot

SHANNON HARVEY, The West Australian July 31, 2012

Once upon a time, along time ago in 1998, a Swedish film director came up with a good idea for a story. It was about two sisters who happened to live next-door to a serial killer .......

Maybe if Lukas had continued his story but incorporated the FA/SML theme he could have been a very big-time winner :)

Lord Percy forced me to watch a couple of episodes of this [which he followed religiously, both series] so that I would be obliged to admit that, yes, it was actually very good.

Missed a bracket there, mate. :P

Interviewer: "So what do you think of Western Civilisation, Mr. Ghandi?"

Ghandi: "I think it would be a very good idea."

Not sure this goes here or in its own thread, but in the sneaky underworld of covert operations, perhaps it is appropriate here, not quite in the limelight.

BBC News Europe: Lavish James Bond spy party shakes and stirs Sweden

The point to remember, Hello SAPO?, is that the spy organizations usually try to stay out of the news. Right?

( I bring this up 'cause at least one of the fanficcers here has written (elsewhere) a pretty darn good piece that involved SAPO. This, of course, has nadda to do with Erin and Agnes, but it does have - sort of? - a link to "Scandenavian Crime Fiction" - if you squint..... )

Well, I mean, I don't travel in the back of the plane.
And I had an entourage.
I told them if they wanted me to attend they should send one of their own planes, but would they listen?

Bloody hell. :T
