Anyone seen it? and 'The Girl Who Played With Fire" "Flickan som lekte med elden" is in post-production with a release date of September this year. Trivia point Ralph Carlsson (Agne's Papa) is in it.

From how I imagine Lisbeth Salander, I keep imagining Rebecka playing the role as its her right age group as she is now. Í'm sure Noomi Rapace is just great, but what a pity Bex wasn't around to take the role.

Any news, let us know

Män som hatar Kvinnor or how it is called here "Mannen die vrouwen haten" is a great succes in the Netherlands. I first saw an introduction on national TV in the Eight O'Clock news. Saturday I got the chance to see it. A movie with great actors and characters. I loved Nyqvist since he played in Tillsammans. I did not know Rapace, but I loved the acting from the start. This is not a normal crime movie, but there are so many eye openers and aha/wow factors that it is really worth watching.

I don't know why this movie was promoted on such a large scale in the Netherlands. I think because the books are a succes in my country as well.

This series is sounding like a definite must for my shopping list, either singly as they're released or in a trilogy pack.

And the descriptions of Lisbeth Salander so kindly provided by snaps only serve to heighten the anticipation. :)P

I hate it when she tells other people's secrets like that. :x
By the way, can you let her know her rubber inflatable ram has arrived? Looks like Rambo.

Somehow I'm left with a less than positive feeling about this book.
I don't mind a plot that's complex and demanding of the reader but gimmicky red-herrings, and a lack of plot credibility are just too much to bear. And don't even mention plot cul-de-sacs.

You've made me really cranky now. :P

Whenever anyone says "Swede" (or even Sweden or Swedish), my mind involuntarily flashes to Rebecka and/or Alex, so you'll forgive me if after snaps' post I need to go and have a little lie down for a while.

  :P
