No, it's just a platypus. :P

Townsville is in its wet season so I don't know how much rain Ian has had, but here in Adelaide we haven't had any rain at all for months.
Nil, zero, not a drop. This is still drought central.

It's all falling in a band from Northern West Australia, across the country and down the east coast from South East Queensland to the Victorian border.
Much flooding in New South Wales, lots of damage but fortunately I haven't seen any reports of lives lost.
I understand from the forecasts that later this week NSW may have one day without rain.

We badly need rain in Adelaide but certainly nothing like that.

We had a nice downfall on Sunday, but nothing spectacular. We had our floods with the monsoon two years ago!

I was thinking of getting the 20th anniversary Neighbours book from 2005, but am kinda wondering if it's worth it. I've picked up some fun bits of memorabilia off eBay of late (a TV WEEK with an actual 1990 cast poster, a flyer for the Aladdin panto Amelia did in 1992, and a TV Times from late 2004 that "allegedly" has an "introducing Lana" article), and am always looking for other stuff.

I just wish I knew exactly what was in it, to see if it's worth the bother, especially given I was massively, massively cheesed off by the 10th anniversary book back in 1995, which had a brief "Character Profile" of Cody, with one photo... and not of Amelia.

I was never allowed back in that bookshop after that swearing fit. :P

Ian. It seems that Mickey Mouse's family is on vacation close to your home.
The farmers are not very happy.

I have a medium-sized FA poster, but was just looking to see how much a giant Western-style SML poster was, even though I don't really have room to put it up at the moment anyway. Holy crap, they're expensive.
No... :T

Realising I've been suffering from year-round hayfever for well over a decade. I thought my sinuses were screwed up. I didn't think you could suddenly get it as an adult, and I thought it was a seasonal thing, not year-round. But apparently really "lucky" people can have it all year round. One freaking pill and my nose cleared up.
I feel like a dumbass. :T :r
Though I'm not sure how I feel about having to take pills every day for the rest of my life, though I guess it's the lesser of two evils.

Let me tell you a very brief story. :Z

Some little while ago I had an appointment to see my heart specialist.
I wasn't feeling that well so I thought the timing was pretty good.

He gave me a quick once over.
Blood pressure was low. Very low.
Heart rate usually around 60 bpm was in the 40's.

Had a look at my medication and changed lots of things.
"Don't take that any more, take this instead" kind of thing.
Seems like it's all just trial and error with stuff like that.

Saw my GP a day or two later to talk to him about it all.
Changes to medication implemented.

So now, a few weeks later I'm starting to feel a bit better.

Hope to be back here soon. :W
