Around 8:00am Sunday here which means around 12:30am in Åmål. Couple of cars weaving over the zebra. No one walking/sitting/lying anywhere. Very boring, wonder what's happening in the Mall at this time of day.

Even more boring than Åmål. Looks like a still life picture.

Gotta find something more exciting. Even the docks in Stockholm have to be better than this.

Guess not. :( :P

In fact I hoped that it would have gone without saying, but then you went and said it. *:|*

I never could resist a smutty innuendo. Just look at Kyle's baby page.

Mmm... Now there's lots of cars on the road, and people walking, and three boys (?) sitting at the bench. A lot of activity this evening, but seems the people at the bench is just watching the cars passing by.

Thanks for the heads-up Bruno. I got them in sight now. Like you never know when something really really interesting might happen when we're not watching  I get paranoid about it. :T It's all your fault!

uPdate 19.05 Amal time. It looks like a boy and two chicas. The blonde in pink pants is dancing. *:)* The dark haired girl with the pink H&M top is playing gooseberry. The guy doesn't know which way to turn :? He doesn't look up for a threesome.

19.10 and they've gone to MacDonalds. Right now they are trying to explain the situation to him.

ELIN: ''It's not that we don't like you, it's just ... that we like each other more ... do you know what we mean?"
JOHAN: ''Do you like gherkin?"
ELIN: ''Eh?''
AGNES: ''Guess it depends on what you do with it?''
JOHAN: "So you two whats the worst thing you ever chewed on?"
ELIN and AGNES:''"
JOHAN: ''Huh? I mean You can have mine.''
ELIN and AGNES: "STUNNED SILENCE"
JOHAN: ''Gherkin makes me barf :r ''
ELIN: ''You are soooo romantic. I guess that's why we hang out together''
JOHAn: "After gherkin I could fart for Sweden"
AGNES: ''We just knew you'd understand  ''

Around 7:00am in Åmål.
Cars trundling down the road.
One or two people walking.
Three little splodges of what looks like gherkin been barfed up in front of the dolphins.
Just another day in Paradise.

Earlier today I looked at some stills of Amal. I may even post some. It doesn't look that repulsive compared with lots of other places I've seen. I think in terms of the film its a sort of metaphor for adolesence. It's not a village and it's not a city. It's not in the north of Sweden with the challenging dramatic effects of landscape and climate on your daily life. Its not Stockholm where you imagine the bright lights to be and the streets paved with gold. It's like a lot of places. A lot of people. It's very west european. It could be any number of thousands of places. It was a brilliant choice of place. yay for Amal!

Of course it is, but that doesn't mean we should stop making fun of it.
If it's good enough for Elin then it's good enough for me.

Besides, it's such an easy target. Yay for Åmål. *:)*

Yup I concur, 8am Amal time. dispapponted they din't have the twinkly riverside lights on last nite last time I checked. They must reserve that for special occasions. do they have special occasions and celebrations there? it always seems to have rained. :Y

Bit after 11:30am Sunday, Åmål time.
Windy, bit of cloud, bit of sun.
Gherkin's gone with the rain.
Guy on a bike rode over the zebra, missed the car.
