I wish I could get it to work. :?

I understand fully that you could do things with those fingers that would bring tears to my eyes but I must know what keyboard magic you performed.

.....or to put it another way.....

How did you do it?

I'd use the Image on you for getting the bowing down thingy to work. If I only could.

Hang on...

There's nothing remotely martyr like about me making MVs. It's a great fun hobby! I wasn't really complaining about spending three hours doing one the other day, I was just kidding. I had a great time doing it - flew by!

Erm, that may possibly be even sadder. :?: :P

You have to locate it on the view more smilies link then right click on the Properties line at the bottom then create an img link on here and paste it in. phew! There must be an easier way, like the nodding yes is simply colon (punctuation) plus Y for Yes i.e. : + Y or :Y as it looks onscreen. *:)*

RIP Barry Letts. He was producer of Doctor Who from 1970-1974 (all the Jon Pertwee era) and was responsible, along with his script editor Terrance Dicks, for casting Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor as well. Always seemed like a real gentleman and consummate professional. Very sad news. RIP. :(

Moral Dilemma. I've been offered a gig. Clubbin' *:)* OK tellin the truth, folk music clubbin *:|* :Z It isn't really a gig, just a slot sandwiched between hairy guys with beards and sandals and Fair Isle sweaters, and excruciating womenfolk in Indian print dresses who REALLY shoulda bottlefed their sprogs so that their tits don't rest on their knees. I did a sampler on tape of my song called ''Agnes and Elin''. Someone with family connections passed it on. The chief bearded wierdie guy misunderstood my crappy Canadian English and I got an invite for a slot to sing my song called ''Agnes and ALAN" Should I go ahead with it? :? Most of them will be so pissed up they won't even notice :r Do I compromise my principles? (what principles? ) This is a one-off far as I am concerned. My instinct is to plug-IN on my electric and treat them to my song ''Hooked on Your Love'' the lyrics of which would earn me a lifetime ban from their club, this site and the human race in general. or do i just play the game and go with the flow? :? Answers, as usual, on a postcard.

Dear Moral Dilemma,
I have studied the issues you outlined in your application, and have discussed same with my executive liason officer (formerly my secretary), over our coffee and a smoke breakfast this morning. She is firmly of the view that she didn't give a rat's arse while I hold to the more sympathetic opinion that you are merely up shit creek without a paddle.

I took it to the board meeting this morning because I felt they could do with a good laugh, but all they did was take your problem seriously and offer some constructive solutions. They've all now been sacked.

However, because I have this piece of paper on which they wrote their thoughts I feel obliged to pass them on to you.

Suggestion 1. Roll up to the gig dressed as Johnny Rotten's love child and try to abuse everyone in alphabetical order. (not taken seriously)
Suggestion 2. Take the gig, sing your own song, and TEFE*. (possible)
Suggestion 3. Play the game, but use your own rules. (promising)
Suggestion 4. Take the gig. Tell them you're sure they will understand if you don't compromise your own integrity, and sing about A & E, not A & A. If you get banned for life tell them you don't want to belong to any club which would allow you to become a member. (favoured)

I thank you for your application but I must advise that my current mistress was the successful candidate.

Yours sincerly
A.B.Fish
C.E.O.

(In case you wondered. TEFE = Tell Em F*ck Em)

Very exciting day today. Went to the local shopping centre. Had a KFC Twister and a jammy donut. Bought a Columbo dvd.

Most exciting day I've had in months!
