Such a beautiful piece Dave,
Thanks so much for bringing it into the light again. *:)*

I'm sure Ian will be in touch with your invitation. :P

Aww, you're so kind, fish. Thank you! :D I would like to apologize that my last visit here (last summer when the world cup had just started) turned out to be a one-off affair. Several things got in the way. I hope to do better this time! Will need some days to see what has happened in the last two or three years when I was hardly present. I started by cleaning up my personal internet link collection on FA. Very successfully! Almost 80% broken or dead now... Hey, but even my own essay turns ten (!) this year. Incredible. No need to thank me for putting it up again! Quite the contrary, you should kick my ass for not making headway with that new version of it I have been talking about for at least five years now... *:|* I assure you, it's not a scam. The plan really exists, the ideas, the notes, the arguments. It's all here. I just need to carry it out. Last time I seriously tried was exactly two years ago. Attempt was aborted after two weeks for lack of time. Hope dies last.

I hope you weren't waiting for Australia to actually win a match against Germany. :P

It'll be great to read it whenever it gets finished I'm sure.
And it's also great to hear the dulcet tones of your keyboard again. *:)*

Erm.... no, I wasn't, actually. I'd rather continue waiting for the sequel to FA, if I may.

No no, seriously. Putting you in the strongest group of the tournament wasn't fair!

Ian, Dave: *:)* Great to meet you again, guys!
